Student Forgotten in Holding Cell for Five Days!

Holy shit!  There is no amount of money in the world that would make something like this okay.  This 23 year old student was put in to a holding cell and forgotten for 5 days.  He had to drink his own piss and almost died while screaming for help the entire time.  ... I  have shivers from this story.   According to RT:

A University of California student spent five days forgotten in a windowless jail cell without food and water, and was forced to drink his own urine to survive. Now, the US government is voluntarily paying the young man $4.1 million to avoid a lawsuit.
Daniel Chong, a 25-year-old economics student at UC San Diego, was one of nine people taken into custody during a drug raid in April 2012. Chong was at a friend’s house when officers discovered 18,000 ecstasy pills at the home. He was locked in a Drug Enforcement Administration jail cell, but after questioning the young man, a police officer authorized to perform DEA work told the student that he would not be charged.
“Hang tight, we’ll come get you in a minute,” the officer told Chong, according to Attorney Eugene Iredale.
But the officer never returned, and Chong spent five dismal days in the 5 by 10 ft. windowless cell. The student, who was still handcuffed, had no food, water, or access to a toilet, and barely survived his living nightmare.
“It sounded like it was an accident – a really, really bad, horrible accident,” he said at a news conference this week, in which he described how close he came to death.
After three days in the cell, the famished young man said he began to hallucinate. He imagined that DEA agents were trying to poison him with gases that entered his cell through the vents. Deprived of food and water, he started to accept the idea that he would not survive. He bit into his glasses to break them, and used a shard of glass to carve a farewell message to his mom on his arm.
“Sorry Mom,” he tried to carve into his bleeding skin, but he only managed to write the “S”.
In a last-ditch attempt to stay alive, he urinated on the metal bench in his cell and then drank his own urine.
To try to capture the attention of the guards, he then stacked a blanket and his clothing on the bench to try to reach an overhead fire sprinkler. Chong desperately tried to set it off by hitting it with his handcuffed hands. He failed.
On the fifth day, Chong screamed at the top of his voice, trying to get the attention of the agents outside.
“I didn’t just sit there quietly. I was kicking the door yelling,” he said.
He slid a shoelace under the door, hoping to garner the attention of the guards. He succeeded, and “five or six people” came to the cell and found him starved and lying in his own feces. Chong had lost 15 pounds, and was immediately hospitalized for five days.
“I had to do what I had to do to survive,” Chong told NBC7 after the incident. “It’s so inconceivable. You keep doubting they would forget you.”
The young student, who was 23 at the time, suffered from dehydration, kidney failure, a perforated esophagus, and cramps, and the DEA issued a public apology last May. The head of the DEA said he was “deeply troubled” by the incident.
After the incident, the agency established new policies at its detention facilities, including mandatory daily cell checks. The agency also installed cameras inside its holding cells.
But to avoid a lawsuit in the case of the 25-year-old economics student, the US government this week agreed to pay Chong a $4.1 million settlement as compensation for the suffering he endured.
“You break it down into the pain and suffering and how horrible this could have been for the family. They didn’t know where he was, all the anguish the family went through and the young man went through,”Defense Attorney Gretchen Von Helms told NBC7. Since the incident occurred a year ago, Chong has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and is receiving treatment from a doctor who normally sees war veterans.
Iredale told the station that the doctor has “never seen stress of trauma as significant” as Chong suffers from.
Twenty percent of the settlement will cover the cost of attorney fees, but Chong will receive at least $3.2 million, which he says he will use to buy his parents a house.
Meanwhile, US. Sen. Charles Grassley is demanding that the DEA explain how their near-fatal mistake occurred in the first place.
“How did this happen? Has there been any disciplinary action against the responsible employees? And has the agency taken major steps to prevent an incident like this from happening again?” he told AP.

Detroit Cops Robbing Citizens

Police Shoot Unarmed Man in his own Drive Way

According to RT:
The police department in Escambia County, Florida is under investigation after multiple officers opened fire on a 60-year-old man in his own driveway over the weekend, seemingly without explanation.
Two sheriff’s deputies – Jeremiak Meeks and Matthew White – responded to a 911 call about a possible burglary at approximately 3am local time on Saturday. When they arrived, Roy Middleton was leaning into his mother’s car in front of his home, looking for cigarettes.
The officers claim they called out to Middleton several times, demanding that he put up his hands before he supposedly lunged at them.
Middleton, who was unarmed except for keys and a flashlight, was shot in the leg. At least five bullets hit his mother’s car and the side of her house.
It was like a firing squad,” Middleton told the Pensacola News Journal.
***

Escambia County Sherriff David Morgan said in a news conference Monday that the two deputies, who have been placed on paid administrative leave, were in “fear for their safety.”
As much as we are trained and as much as officers – which have Type A personalities – like to say we are in control, we are not,” Morgan said.
Multiple neighbors said they were woken by the police shooting. One resident said the incident made her want to lock her doors at night.
***
Middleton’s mother, Ceola Walker, was asleep inside when multiple bullets hit the side of her home.
He was just coming home like he usually does,” she told Fox 10 TV. “I don’t understand why they had to use so much force under the situation. I don’t understand how they could fire so many shots at him. He wasn’t resisting or anything and he was at his own house.”

SWAT Team Sued for Terrorizing Civilians.

AKA, Swat Team Sued for Doing their Jobs.

Do you hate terrorism?  Do you want to feel safe in your own home?  How about at sports arenas, malls, theaters and airports?  Well if you like most Americans worry about how we can fight terrorism, our first step should be to disband SWAT teams nation wide.

They are the number one terrorists in our nation.  Partaking in thousands of raids each year on non violent "criminals" and victimizing their families or anyone else in the home while killing pets on a regular basis.

If Americans really wanted to stop terrorism we would start at home where it really resides.

RT reports:

A Pennsylvania family has filed a lawsuit against the Pittsburgh police department, claiming that two dozen SWAT team members raided their home and terrorized their two children in retaliation for a prior incident involving an officer outside a local bar.
Surveillance video captured in December 2010 outside a Pittsburgh bar shows Michael Murray, an off-duty police officer, trying to help a bartender escort an unruly patron out of the establishment. A fight breaks out in the process, with another customer – later identified as William Moreno – jumping into the fray and throwing Murray to the ground.
The policeman was knocked unconscious, his leg broken, and tooth chipped. Moreno, who would later be convicted of aggravated assault in 2012, left the bar to return home to his family.
A new lawsuit filed by Moreno’s wife alleges that on December 7, 2010 - less than 24 hours after the bar fight - a team of at least 23 officers dressed in full SWAT gear detonated flash grenades at the Moreno family’s door and forced their way into the house. Although the officers had a warrant and evidently sought to arrest William Moreno, they are accused of putting his family through 45 minutes of “terrorization” in the process.
The SWAT team allegedly handcuffed Moreno, his wife Georgeia, Georgeia’s stepfather, and Georgeia’s adult son Billy. In court, Georgeia said that Billy was forced to lie on broken glass. She recalled pleading with officers, telling them there were young children upstairs.
Then they threw us all on the ground and were handcuffing us, kicking us, screaming,” Georgeia Moreno told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “They had rifles pointed at our heads.”
At one point, the officers were too rough with the stepfather’s surgically repaired arm. He said the altercation necessitated another surgery.
You think you can get one of ours, and we won’t get one of yours?” the officers are accused of saying.
They just ransacked the house,” said Tim O’Brien, the family’s attorney. “Everything was done wrong. Everything they did was in complete disregard of the Constitution.”
According to the lawsuit, police then violently dragged Georgeia’s 10-year-old son from the bathtub, injuring his ankles. Officers reportedly humiliated the boy by forcing him to stand naked next to his four-year-old sister at gunpoint.
Officers have continued to harass and threaten the family since the raid, telling them "That’s how we do things here" and that they should move out of Pittsburgh,” the complaint reads.
The family is seeking $50,000 in damages, claiming the SWAT raid was in breach of their Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights. US District Judge Nora Barry Fischer refused to dismiss the case earlier this week, citing inconsistencies in officers’ explanations and saying there is not a time limit by which the family would have needed to sue.
William Moreno, who has a lengthy criminal record, is in the midst of serving an 8 ½ to 20 year prison sentence for his role in the initial bar fight.

Snitch Plants Crack

According to BoingBoing:

"There is a smoke shop in Scotia NY, owned by a young black man. There are many, many smoke shops in the capital region, but the rest are owned by white people. Undercover police decided to send an 'undercover agent' (an informant facing his own jail time) to investigate. Shortly after, the owner was charged with possession of crack cocaine. He was facing almost a decade in prison. Just one hitch though: the owner had video cameras set up in his shop. The videos captured the informant dropped a bag of crack on the counter; planting the drugs. The charges were dismissed, the informant has suddenly "disappeared" and the owner is now considering a law suit."

Yet some people think David Chapelle is just joking when he mocks cops by saying "Well, let's sprinkle some crack on him and get outta here."

Now this is a good cop... so he was Fired!

After many hours of painstaking research in to police actions, I have finally found a cop who I can honestly say sounds like an incredible guy, like a truly honest, peace keeper.  Just look in to his eyes and you can see that he is not an evil bastard like most cops.  But as the title says, he was so good that he got fired.  My explanation cannot do the story justice, just watch the video below...

Man Killed in Drug Possession Traffic Stop

One giant reason the war against drugs has been a compete and utter failure is that police officers around the nation use the supposed smell of marijuana as an excuse to search peoples possessions and if need be beat them to a pulp.

According to Information Liberation

"Some time after taking him into custody, the officers became aware that the individual was in what they believed was medical distress. They immediately began life-saving measures and requested the response of the ambulance," Rodriguez said.
WBAL reported that West had a lengthy criminal record, including resisting arrest charges, and had done 12 years in state prison on drug dealing charges.
WBAL spoke to various witnesses, none of whom wanted to be identified. One witness said police sprayed West with an unknown substance and beat him with billy clubs.
"The two police officers were on top of the man punching him in his side," the witness said. "They sprayed the man directly in his face. The man tries to get up to avoid that he can't see, but he knew he was being abused, so he ran. Police ran after him. He screamed for help because they started beating him with batons and everything."
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
Medical distress from being beaten and sprayed with God know's what.  Shocking.  Police officers around the nation beat the crap out of people, smashing their heads in with batons and then act surprised when they die?!  Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.

Nurse Terrorized by U.S. Marshals

This is another one of those stories that needs to be told in it's entirety, so direct from InfoWars:

It was a typical evening after work when Sarasota, Fl., resident Louise Goldsberry finished dinner and began to clean up.
The nurse, employed by the Sarasota Doctors Hospital, proceeded towards the kitchen sink to clean the dishes when she gazed out her window. Her gaze met the eyes of a man wearing a hunting vest who was aiming a gun directly at her face.
Goldsberry, understandably frightened, dropped to the floor and began screaming. Although in a panic, she managed to crawl her way into the bedroom to retrieve her weapon, a .38-caliber revolver she had purchased to provide comfort while living alone.
She maintained a concealed weapons permit for the firearm.
Craig Dorris, her boyfriend who worked as a manager for a security alarm company, heard her screams and tried to make sense of his girlfriend’s reaction when suddenly they both heard a man screaming to open the front door.

The man, shouting obscenities, claimed to be a police officer and ordered them to open the front door.
Goldsberry wasn’t convinced. The man she saw through the window looked more like an “armed thug” than a police officer.
Luckily the boyfriend Dorris, was able to remain calm and request ID from the man, but the yelling continued and the man shouted, “We’re the f—- police; open the f—- door!”
Frightened, Dorris moved away from the door half expecting bullets to riddle through it.
Goldsberry, who had never been arrested before, wondered if they could really be police and if they would speak this way. She had no idea as to why the police would be trying to force their way into her apartment with their weapons drawn.
As the couple stayed huddled in the hallway, Goldsberry still clutching her weapon, watched in horror as the unidentified man pushed open the front door, which they swore had been locked.
A man crept around the corner aiming his weapon at them both and shouted, “Drop the f—- gun or I’ll f—- shoot you,” he ordered.
Goldsberry’s screams heightened, but Dorris studied the man who was now standing inside the apartment. He observed him holding a tactical shield for protection and decided he appeared to be well equipped enough to be police.
Dorris realizing that any minute the standoff could result in the death of both of them, began reasoning with the man, surrendering, raising his hands above his head and asking the man to step outside to talk.
After given permission, he moved towards the front door peacefully but was immediately grabbed and placed in handcuffs.
After being arrested outside, Dorris saw numerous men wearing vests with the words federal marshal strewn across them. Dozens of Sarasota Police officers flooded the scene, as well as some others that he couldn’t identify, which he found unusual since he often worked with police at his security company.
Dorris described it as a scene from the movie Rambo.
Dorris then yelled inside to his girlfriend that it was OK to drop the gun and come out. Paralyzed with fear, Goldsberry froze and shouted, “I’m an American citizen, you have no right to do this.”
The standoff continued for several more minutes before finally releasing her weapon onto the floor.
She was rushed by officers and quickly handcuffed.
The couple remained cuffed outside for the next thirty minutes while police searched their home without a warrant for a man they had never heard of and certainly never seen.
Finally they were released and the police left.
According to police, the man at the door was Matt Wiggins of the U.S. Marshal’s fugitive division.
When the Herald Tribune, Sarasota’s local newspaper, questioned the marshal he claimed they were searching for child-rape suspect.
Wiggins claimed they had a tip that the suspect, Kyle Riley, was inside the apartment complex, but admitted they had no specific information that indicated he was inside Goldsberry’s apartment.
Wiggins said when the people inside the apartment didn’t immediately open up, that gave them reason to believe they were harboring the alleged child rapist.
The U.S. marshal even had the audacity to say, “Nobody in the other units reacted that way.”
Tom Lyons, a reporter for the Herald Tribune countered, “Maybe none of them had a gun pointed at them through the window.”
Of course Wiggins didn’t seem to think that fact condoned the horrified woman’s behavior. He said he acted with restraint and didn’t like having a gun aimed at him.
“I went above and beyond. I have to go home at night,” said Wiggins.
Lyons argued, “She had a gun pointed at her, too, and she wasn’t wearing body armor and behind a shield.”
“She had no reason to expect police or think police would ever aim into her kitchen and cuss at her through her door to get in. It seemed crazy and she was panicked.”
Wiggins responded with, “We were clearly the police, she can’t say she didn’t know.”
“She does say so, actually,” said Lyons.
In an interview with Lyons the following day, Goldsberry explained, “I couldn’t see them. They had a big light in my eyes.”
The man she saw aiming a gun at her through the window had nothing visible that said “cop.”
“I was thinking, is this some kind of nutjob?” she said.
Turns out it was just a U.S. Federal marshal exercising what he thinks is his right under his authoritative title, and of course was “just doing his job.”
Eventually Wiggins admitted, “I feel bad for her. But at the same time, I had to reasonably believe the bad guy was in her house based on what they were doing.”
Despite the fact that she was pointing a gun at police, and Goldsberry wasn’t shot, Wiggins says, “She sure shouldn’t be going to the press.”
The suspect, Kyle Riley, was arrested several hours later in another part of Sarasota.

Pervert Police Officers

From LewRockwell.com:

During a routine traffic stop, Leila Tarantino was allegedly subjected to two roadside strip searches in plain view of passing traffic, while her two children—ages 1 and 4—waited inside her car. During the second strip search, presumably in an effort to ferret out drugs, a female officer “forcibly removed” a tampon from Tarantino. No contraband or anything illegal was found.

A North Carolina public school allegedly strip-searched a 10-year-old boy in search of a $20 bill lost by another student, despite the fact that the boy, J.C., twice told school officials he did not have the missing money. The assistant principal reportedly ordered the fifth grader to disrobe down to his underwear and subjected him to an aggressive strip-search that included rimming the edge of his underwear. The missing money was later found in the school cafeteria.

Suspecting that Georgia Tech alum Mary Clayton might have been attempting to smuggle a Chik-Fil-A sandwich into the football stadium, a Georgia Tech police officer allegedly subjected the season ticket-holder to a strip search that included a close examination of her underwear and bra. No contraband chicken was found.

Four Milwaukee police have been charged with carrying out rectal searches of suspects on the street and in police district stations over the course of several years. One of the officers is accused of conducting searches of men’s anal and scrotal areas, often inserting his fingers into their rectums. Half-way across the country, the city of Oakland, California, has agreed to pay $4.6 million to 39 men who had their pants pulled down by police on city streets between 2002 and 2009.

Thirty-eight-year-old Angel Dobbs and her 24-year-old niece, Ashley, were pulled over by a Texas state trooper on July 13, 2012, allegedly for flicking cigarette butts out of the car window. Insisting that he smelled marijuana, the trooper proceeded to interrogate them and search the car. Despite the fact that both women denied smoking or possessing any marijuana, the police officer then called in a female trooper, who carried out a roadside cavity search, sticking her fingers into the older woman’s anus and vagina, then performing the same procedure on the younger woman, wearing the same pair of gloves. No marijuana was found.

Cop's Kill Soldier

According to a Fox affiliate:

Fort Bliss soldier Sgt. James Brown turned himself in July 13, 2012, to serve what was to be a 48-hour sentence for a drunken driving conviction, but he never checked out.

***

One of the last people to see Brown alive is at a prison facility in Abilene, Texas. He said Brown never resisted and was beaten even after he was unconscious. This inmate agreed to speak with KFOX14 on condition that we don't share his identity.

This inmate is set to be released soon, but for now, he is being held on a revoked probation for a drug charge. He does not want El Paso County correction officers to see his face and said he is not the only one who was witness to Brown's death.

"There was a bunch of us in there, they kept us all in the holding tank for almost three days," the inmate said. "They really weren't feeding you. I think they gave us one sandwich for the whole day -- a sandwich and a carton of milk, so some guys were pretty heated."

The inmate said Brown was there and was about to be released.

"He pushed the door, but it was already locked so he couldn't open it. He pushed the door and he cussed. But then he walked to the back and kicked back against the wall," the inmate said.

Three or four people then came in and grabbed Brown, the inmate said.

"He was like, 'I didn't do nothing. I'm staying back here. I'm keeping my mouth shut,'" the inmate said. "Well, they grabbed him and they took him to a little room in front of us."

At this point, the inmate said Brown was roughed up and a guard from behind and gave him a shot.

What a country!   We have no respect for those who fight to defend us, oh and we are more than willing to allow police officer so inject people with whatever they please and then not be held accountable if that person dies.

I hope this is a lesson learned for anyone thinking of joining the military.  Don't!  You will be treated like shit, no one will help you when you get back home, and even the police do not respect you.  Stay home and enjoy your life, forget about serving a country that is in it's death throes.

Man Riding a Bicycle Catheterized by Police to Test for DUI

This case boggles my mind, but I guess that happens regularly often with the absolute out of control police state we live in.  I would like to starts with a statement about man in question here:

He has since left the country and moved back to Venezuela where Barnes says he feels “much safer.”

He feels much  safer in Venezuela.  Do Ameircan's understand how dangerous this country is?  A country where you are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist.  We live in on one the most outrageously dangerous nations in the world.  InfoWars reported on this story as follows:

The officers made their way towards Barnes anyway and asked him for his ID. He told the officers that he had not violated any laws and wasn’t required to present his ID.
The cops continued to threaten and intimidate Barnes into providing his ID, but still he refused.
One of the officers then told Barnes that he witnessed him riding his bike standing up, which is a crime in the state of Oregon. Barnes was skeptical of the statute, so he asked the officer to provide the Oregon State Legislative numbers on the law. The officer denied knowing them and began to make calls on his radio.
Officer Joshua Wilson shortly arrived on the scene and started the interrogation on Barnes all over again, demanding he present his ID. Officer Wilson read the statute to Barnes and told him he was being charged with “failure to use a bicycle seat.”
The penalty for failing to use a bicycle seat under Oregon state law is a misdemeanor traffic violation.
So because this man was not sitting down while riding his bike the police ended up taking extremely harsh actions.
Once at the hospital, with Barnes on the verge of wetting his pants, Officer Wilson arrived with the signed warrant. While Barnes’ hands were handcuffed in the front, the officer escorted him into the restroom and instructed Barnes to urinate in the cup.
Barnes still refusing, urinated into the urinal but not the cup. Barnes said the officer then tried to grab his penis and the cup, attempting to force him to urinate into it. Failing at this attempt, Barnes said the officer became angry and pushed him hard against the wall causing Barnes to urinate on himself.
“By my own power I dropped to my knees and went face down on the ground, trying to pinch off my urine flow,” said Barnes.
“Officer Wilson then came over and stood with full force on the small of my back, applying painful pressure to my bladder which made it so I could not stop urinating. I remained on the bathroom floor in the hospital in a puddle of my own urine while he used his radio to call security.”
“I was then told they were going to catheterize me.”
In America if you ride your bike without being seated there is a chance you might be brought in to a hospital and stomped to the ground by an officer who forces you to lie in your own piss, then to be catheterized against your will.
Barnes said, “After Officer Wilson and the others assisted the medical staff in removing my pants and underwear, he took my penis in his hands and forced a very long catheter into my urethra while I was screaming, crying, and very much sober and awake.”
“The invasion felt nothing short of rape. I screamed for an attorney and an impartial observer and received none. The pain was excruciating, the procedure was humiliating, and the worst wasn’t over.”
“Once officials got my sample and pulled the catheter out, the pain was so severe it induced an instant gag reflex, I vomited and dry heaved onto the floor. This was by far the worst pain and experience that ever happened to me.”
Is there any level of logic and reason in police officers?  Do they think that anyone who breaks any law should be treated like scum?  Do they believe that it is their right to administer punishment and teach people lessons about obeying authority?  Do they have any compassion for human beings? Are they actually here to protect and serve?  Seems to me that they are here to torture and terrorize people while protecting the elite and powerful.

Swat Raided Home Over Uncut Lawn

Is this really what we want our tax money going towards?  Is this how we want police officers wasting their time?  Busting in doors because the front lawn hasn't been mowed?!  I think this can easily be labeled the most absurd use of force I have ever seen.  Armed swat members deployed over the height of grass outside?! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!  This country is a goner.

According to Natural News:

A Pittsburgh area woman recently met the heavy hand of local law enforcement during an intense 12-hour police roundup, which serves as yet another reminder about the fragility of our individual liberties. As reported by WTAE News in Pittsburgh, police officers barged into Robyn Ruckman's home after demanding that she procure proper identification for an arrest warrant, all over uncut grass that was the responsibility of her landlord.
The sweep was initiated in the Turtle Creek area of southeastern Pittsburgh in response to more than 100 outstanding warrants, one of which was aimed at Ruckman's property. Reports indicate that Ruckman's lawn had been improperly maintained by her landlord for quite some time, which resulted in a warrant being issued on the owner for Failure to Maintain.

I had shared the original video of when this home invasion first happened, at the time no one seemed to know the entire story, but here we are a few weeks later learning again, the cops forcefully entered this woman's home, because her lawn was too high.  Check out the news report below for more:

Billy Club to the Face

This is a story that needs to be read in it's entirety, so I will share the full article from YourBlackWorld.net:

By Yolanda Spivey
BLOOMINGTON IL- On June 29th 2013, Gabriella Calhoun’s life changed forever.  The night was warm and clear, and after partying with friends, Gabriella and her friends decided to go to their local neighborhood Denny’s to get a late night meal.  Gabby is an honor student at Wiley College.  She finished high school a year early and went to college a year before the rest of her cohort.
Sitting on the left side of Denny’s so they can have a view of the parking lot, her crew of 17, all high school graduates, witnessed a fight between two girls.  As the group of college bound students were ordering their drinks, the cops were called.
When officers arrived on the scene, they entered the Denny’s and approached Gabriella’s table and asked if they had anything to do with the fight.   A friend, who shall remain nameless, told the officers that they were not involved with the fight at all at which the cops left and went back outside.
The two girls who were fighting outside were allowed to go into the Denny’s to “clean themselves up.”  One girl was previously maced by a police officer in the parking lot for acting unruly.  When the two girls saw each other inside of Denny’s, they started to fight again.  The cops rushed into the restaurant to break the fight up.
As the cops tried to clear Denny’s, they again approached Gabriella’s table, at which a close friend of hers told the cops they were not involved with the party that was fighting.  The cops grabbed the nameless young man, (he wants his name protected out of fear of retaliation), and escorted him out of Denny’s.  Gabriella followed them and grabbed his side.  As she exited the Denny’s she felt a grip on her neck and arm and says that out of reaction, she tried to pull away.
What happened next was unimaginable.  According to her friends, Gabriella was hit in the face with a night stick by a female officer and was knocked unconscious.   When Gabriella finally gained consciousness, the Wiley College Student said, “I awoke spitting my teeth out on the ground.”
Gabriella then stated, “When I came to, the officer begin to choke me again.  When I was finally able to talk, I asked the officer to please let me go because I have asthma, but she [the officer], said, ‘I don’t care if you have asthma.  You were hitting my officer.’”
“Afterward, the officer kept saying over and over again, ‘how was your party’ as she held my face to the ground.”
The female cop then lifted the petite honor student off of the ground, at which her b*****s were exposed because the tube top shirt she was wearing had rolled down.  She asked the officer if she could please pull up her shirt, but the officer told her to do it herself.  She then walked Gabriella all the way from the front of the Denny’s to the back where the cop cars were.
s2
Gabriella was then sent to the precinct where she was booked on one charge of felony aggravated battery and two misdemeanors for resisting arrest.
“While at the jail, I received limited medical attention,” said Gabriella.  “The doctors only gave me ointment and an icepack which I had to ask for.”
“I think this is racial profiling not only by the Bloomington police department but also by Denny’s,” stated Lynia Cooper, friend of the victim. “Nobody else in Denny’s had to leave except the African Americans in that area.  The police didn’t hear us out and ultimately used cruel and unusual force on Gabby.”
Cooper added, “Might I add the police didn’t even arrest the females that were involved in the altercations.”
Your Black World tried to reach out to the Bloomington, IL police department, but they said they were unable to make an official statement because the case hasn’t gone to trial yet.
The entire incident left Gabriella terrified. “The whole situation is out of hand,” stated the frightened teen.  “I don’t deserve this and now I hate to look in the mirror.  When I look at what I use to look like to what I look like now, it hurts.  I had the prettiest smile but now I have 3 fake teeth in my mouth.  Nothing is the same.  I have to train myself to talk with my new teeth.”
Civil rights activists are already trying to find out what happened to the student, but are seeking to hear the police department’s side of the story.
“I want to hear what the police have to say, since the burden of proof is on them,” said Dr. Boyce Watkins, who revealed the case of Kelly Williams-Bolar, the mother sent to jail for sending her kids to a school outside her district.  ”But my father is a cop, so I know that her story is not inconceivable.  Police beat law-abiding citizens for little things all the time, and regularly go outside the bounds of decency when exerting their authority.”
Dr. Watkins is meeting this week with the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton in Chicago, and says that he will get their inputs on the matter.  Until then, the family is seeking answers and support from anyone willing to provide it.  Watkins says that he is trying to figure out how a small woman required so much force to restrain, even if she was doing something wrong.
“This woman is the same size as one of my daughters,” said Dr. Watkins.  ”Even if she were out of line, I can’t imagine someone having to smash her face with a billy club and knock her teeth out to get her under control.”

"Storm Troopers" Raid Adam Kokesh's Home and Kidnap Him Yet Again...

"I was here, and I loaded a shotgun on Independence Day, but I didn't kill anybody. I didn't drone any children.  I didn't steal any children's future. I didn't sell this country into debt. I didn't do any of the crimes that the man two blocks over at the White House is responsible for." - Adam Kokesh

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

AVTM Official Press Release
RE: Raid on ADAM VS THE MAN Studios 10JUL13

(HERNDON, VA 10 JULY 2013)--- On the evening of Tuesday, 09JUL13, at approximately 7:45 PM, a combination of US Parks Police (an arm of the DHS) raided Adam Kokesh's residence. Local Herndon police assisted in the armed invasion. The officers used a battering ram to knock in the door after two knocks, and did not announce that they had a warrant. Immediately after breaking down the door, a flash bang grenade was deployed in the foyer.

Numerous police vehicles, including a light armored vehicle and two low-flying helicopters barricaded Adam's street. More than 20 armored SWAT team members surrounded the house, as well as a number of detectives, and plainclothes officers. Assault rifles were aimed on all members of the team as they were handcuffed without being told why they were detained. Masked and armored police in full “Storm Trooper” gear flooded in and ransacked the residence. The team was cordoned in a front room, while Adam was pulled aside for questioning.

Over the course of the next five hours, the police searched every corner of the house with canine units and blueprints to the house obtained prior to the search. All officers refused to speak to the crew while they we being detained. They confiscated cell phones and personal items with force. Throughout the ordeal, the police repeatedly showed a volatile desire to initiate aggressive, forceful conduct with detainees. At one point, Adam politely requested to use the restroom and was kicked by the officer forcing him to sit handcuffed on the floor. After hours of determined attempts, the safe was forced open and all items inside were confiscated. Adam was arrested and his crew were told he was being brought to the Herndon Police department overnight. Well after midnight, police officers cleared the house.

Fairfax County Adult Detention Center has stated that it has Adam in custody.

The ADAM VS THE MAN Team will be continuing production on the podcast and the Youtube channel as long as Adam remains imprisoned for an act of civil disobedience. We will continue to spread the message of liberty, self ownership, and the non-aggression principle regardless of the government's relentless attacks on our operation. We will continue to combat its desperate attempts to crush a worldwide, revolutionary shift in the people's understanding of the state's illegitimacy—after all, good ideas don't require force.

74 Year old Woman "Assaults" an Officer with her Purse

I hardly feel the need to make statements about this video.

But...

What a fucking loser this officer is, arresting a 74 year old woman!  First off he had no right to be shoving her because she was not moving quick enough, second if he cannot take a purse tapping him in the face due to his own aggressive actions, maybe he should get in to another career.  Fucking loser asshole.

Cops are such wimps, they get nudged, their uniform gets rubbed up against, their arm touches someone else, automatically the civilian has assaulted the officer.  Wimps, losers, pussies.  Many cops are a bunch of pussies, that's it!  They need to arrest old women to feel the rush of being in charge.  Ugh.

Sanity Prevails

I've been watching all three of these cases closely and reported on two a few weeks ago here and here.

The past few days have finally seen some justice served in part to a couple of wrongly arrested people as well as one that was gunned down in his own bed.  We'll start with the tale of the teenager who was facing a year in prison for wearing a t-shirt with a gun on it to school.

According to The Huffington Post:

A criminal charge has been dismissed against a West Virginia middle school student who refused a teacher's order to remove a National Rifle Association T-shirt he wore to school.

Logan County Circuit Judge Eric O'Briant signed an order dismissing an obstruction charge Thursday against 14-year-old Jared Marcum stemming from an April 18 incident at Logan Middle School.

Marcum was charged after a police officer told him to stop talking, but the student didn't.

Marcum's attorney, Ben White, says Marcum was exercising his free speech rights and his support for the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. After a review of statements from the officer and the school's principal, White says he and a prosecutor agreed that creating a criminal record for Marcum wasn't a good idea.

The next story is about a man who was shot 16 times while lying in his own bed.  The cops had no reason to be in his room and no reason to think that he was armed.   An NBC affiliate covered the story earlier in the week:

A man who was shot 16 times during a police raid in Auburn will be paid $3 million under a settlement reached Thursday.

The case involves a February 2012 incident where 28-year-old Dustin Theoharis was shot 16 times while in bed.

Theoharis had not committed a crime-- a team of King County deputies and a state corrections officer entered his room to search for weapons after arresting someone else at the Auburn home where he lived.

Two officers -- corrections officer Kris Rongen and Deputy Aaron Thompson -- fired nearly 20 times after entering Theoharis' room, hitting him 16 times.

Miraculously, he survived, but was left with a shattered jaw and shoulder, a fractured spine, and damage to his limbs and organs.

Lastly a story I've been following all week but avoided writing about because I wanted to see what the outcome was and because I've written about chalk vandalism in the past.  Thank goodness in this case sanity prevailed.  LA Times reports:

A jury Monday acquitted a 40-year-old man of all charges connected with writing protest messages in chalk on the sidewalk outside branches of the Bank of America.

The case has exacerbated the already tense relationship between Mayor Bob Filner, who called the case "stupid" and a "waste of money," and City Atty. Jan Goldsmith, who defended it as a legitimate prosecution for graffiti vandalism.

Deliberating for only a few hours, the jury apparently agreed with Filner -- declaring Jeff Olson not guilty on all 13 misdemeanor counts filed by Goldsmith's office.

Olson, who said he was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement, never denied writing the slogans.

One slogan said, "No thanks, big banks." Another, "Shame on Bank of America." And in yet another, the bank was portrayed as an octopus grabbing at cash with its tentacles.

"It's chalk," Filner told reporters last week in an exasperated tone. "It's water-soluble chalk. They were political slogans."
