LAPD Shooting Random People

So we've all heard of Chris Dorner by now.  The ex LAPD officer who killed 3 people including one police officer and injured 2 other officers as well this week.  The LAPD has been on a massive manhunt tracking him through the city and in to the mountains.  The guy is absolutely nuts, he is on a rampage to get revenge for being fired from the department and posted an 11,000 word manifesto to the internet explaining why.

So there is no doubt that officers in the area should be on high alert.  They should be very cautious and extremely aware of their surroundings.  Instead they are shooting at any vehicle that even slightly resembles the description of Chris Dorner's ride.  A blue pick up truck pulled up to the home of an officer listed in the aforementioned manifesto yesterday.  The officers on duty watching the house did not even bother to see who was driving the vehicle, instead they just opened fire!

According to The Los Angeles Times:

The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.

This is of course bad enough, but it doesn't stop there.

A second shooting, involving Torrance police officers, occurred about 5:45 a.m. at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street in Torrance. No injuries were reported in that incident.

Chase said that in both instances police came across vehicles they thought were similar to the one Dorner is believed to be driving. Neither vehicle was Dorner's.

They're literally just opening fire on any vehicle that even slightly resembles Dorner's!

Thank goodness they found his vehicle burnt to a crisp and can now stop being deathly afraid of blue pick up trucks.

Of course if you read the entire article over at the LA Times or any other given news source they're going in to great depth in to the back story and the current man hunt through Big Bear Lake but the fact that cops have shot at innocent civilians with no actual reason is just mentioned in passing.

Cop killer on the lose, lock your doors, hide your children, oh yeah and by the way the cops are shooting random people on the street so actually that's the real reason everyone should stay indoors.

Chris Dorner has already been responsible for tying up and threatening a man to steal his boat.  It is obvious that Chris Dorner has no intentions of killing any innocent civilians.  He has an agenda and a list of victims he wants revenge on.  I cannot remember a story that sounds more like a movie in my life time.  Chris Dorner in his mind must feel like Schwarzenegger or Stallone fighting against a corrupt and evil LAPD force.

And you know what, when the only civilians being shot are taking bullets straight out of a cops gun, it makes you wonder who the real bad guy is in this story.

Although Dorner's first two victims were actually civilians, one of them was the daughter of a former LAPD captain who became a lawyer in retirement, and ended up representing Dorner in front of the Board of Rights during his dismissal.  Dorner claims that since his firing he is unable to start a family and therefore will terminate the family of those he holds responsible for his loss.  So while not exactly the most sane reasoning, the logic is somewhat understandable.  These are not random innocents being shot at, but in his mind they are pieces in his devious plot for revenge.

Now that the carnage has begun it is harder to defend the fact that Dorner was indeed fired for an illegitimate reason.  He was trying to report a superior officer for kicking a schizophrenic man in the chest and face.  The victim says it happened, the victims father says he came home with his face bruised and Dorner, at the time a respected officer of the law, also claims that this man was beaten without due cause.  Yet instead of firing the officer who beat on an innocent man they fired Dorner for ratting on said fellow officer.

That's the last thing a police department wants, an officer who will actually call out other officers for doing their job poorly.  So the solution is of course to fire him, destroy his career, and send him in to a downward spiral that lead to this weeks gruesome events.

Not that this need be said, but I in no way condone Chris Dorners actions.  I do not condone killing anyone.  The mind just boggles over the fact that the murder of a cop is considered the most atrocious crime one can commit, but when cops "accidentally" shoot people while hunting for the suspected killer it is just a side note.

Cops That Actually Got Fired!

Times they are a changin'.

It looks like actions are finally being taken due to all the backlash cops have been receiving nation wide in regards to ignoring our constitutional rights, beating and murdering innocent people, and just downright ignoring their duties and sworn oath.  I hardly get the chance to actually say something positive here, but this week in LA and Miami-Dade the higher ups in each of these departments actually took the proper action of firing officers who are not properly accomplishing their job description to protect and serve.

Between a secretive clique of LA cops in gang territory who get tattoos based on how many gang bangers they shoot to Miami officers who simply ignore calls to make out with their girlfriend or sit and drink coffee it looks like someone out there wants to start turning the tides in regards to how police officers nation wide are perceived.

Seven Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies have been notified that the department intends to fire them for belonging to a secret law enforcement clique that allegedly celebrated shootings and branded its members with matching tattoos, officials said. 

The Times reported last year about the existence of the clique, dubbed the Jump Out Boys, and the discovery of a pamphlet that described the group's creed, which required aggressive policing and awarded tattoo modifications for police shootings.

Just More Bad Cops

Whether they're slugging women on buses, shooting people while they sleep in their own bed, or stomping on a man in diabetic shock, you can bet police officers nation wide are putting their authority to use in an assortment of nasty ways each and every day.

Beating Blacks to Death

It seems to be a common occurrence that when police officers get together in a group and find a black person who has committed a crime, without saying a word they all know it's time for a good old fashion beat down.  Whether you have 3 cops, 6, or a dozen every single one of them wants to get their fair share of punches and kicks not to mention taser shots.  The suspect could be lying on the ground begging for their life and the cops won't stop until the begging stops and the suspect is completely silent.  Typically that silence comes from unconsciousness but if the person is dead, well at least they aren't talking back to an officer anymore.

The gang mentality of the police in this country is absolutely unforgivable.  They get together for what might as well be lynchings.  They are the perpetuators of modern day slavery.  Beat the black man down, for the most minor of crimes, then charge them with assaulting an officer if they even attempt to defend themselves.  Or if they're lucky they'll beat the suspect so badly that a few days later they die in a hospital.

Then being that the American system is completely corrupt the county coroner will say that the cause of death is undeterminable and fellow police will completely disregard any kind of public outcry for charges to be made against the officers in question.  So long story short, wearing a badge on your chest gives you the freedom to murder people.  Maybe the worst an officer faces is getting fired, but chances are no disciplinary action will be taken at all.  Cops can physically and verbally abuse people, they can beat people to death, threaten them with imprisonment for activities that aren't illegal, break in to your home, shoot your dog, pretty much whatever they want.

They can do all of this without any fear of repercussions, they're just following orders.  We all know of another group that was just following orders.  Yet every time I see a story about a cop killing someone who is wheel chair bound in "self defense", hospitalizing an innocent person, or even "accidentally" killing someone, they were just following procedure and were within their rights as an officer of the law.  Is there any limit to what police are allowed to do to citizens?  If a citizen accidentally runs someone over chances are they might still go to jail for manslaughter, chances are even higher that they are at least going to be brought to court for the offense.

When it comes to cops though, they aren't even brought to court to answer for their transgressions.  They are just allowed to go back to work, with an even higher sense of self worth and the knowledge that they can commit whatever crime they want because nothing will happen to them.  Ugh.

Just three random videos I've came across recently on InfoWars revealing yet more atrocities perpetrated by police officers throughout America.

We are the land of the free only if you consider being under constant surveillance with a never ending fear of arrest for every day activities freedom.

We are the home of the brave only if you consider 'roided out police officers wearing body armor and carrying tasers, pepper spray and guns to protect themselves against the citizens truly brave members of society.

Beating on the Disabled

Every single day a police officer somewhere not only ruins someones day but completely destroys their ability to enjoy the people, places and things that they used to find pleasure in.  Todays harrowing experience went down between a San Diego Sheriff and a man with Down Syndrome.  After being pepper sprayed and beaten outside of his families bakery for the heinous crime of taking a walk at the wrong time he can no longer visit the bakery without being reminded of this event.  The CNN article is edited down for the highlights down below:

His eyes stinging with pepper spray, a developmentally disabled 21-year-old man was hit and forced to the ground before being taken into custody by California sheriff's deputies in an incident that left his family Thursday demanding justice.

His father is considering suing the department and the city of Vista, California, the young man's sister, Jessica Martinez, said.

"But really, all we want is for the sheriff's deputy who did this to my brother to get fired," Jessica Martinez, 20, said. "That's all we want. We want justice."

I could not agree anymore, these people are not looking to make a quick buck out of this tragedy they truly want justice to be served.  Police officers should not be allowed to get away with this, a slap on the wrist is not enough.  A paid suspension might as well be a vacation, a reward for doing wrong.  This officer obviously does not deserve to be wearing a badge.

Martinez is well-known around the Vista neighborhood, where he lives and his family has a bakery, his sister said. He was out walking between his home and the bakery when the deputy called out to him, at which point neighborhood men explained that the young man had Down Syndrome and wasn't doing anything wrong, according to Jessica Martinez.

The deputy didn't back off. Instead, while trying "to gain compliance and prevent a possible escape," he used pepper spray on Antonio Martinez, said Caldwell from the Sheriff's Department.

The deputy began using a baton as an agitated crowd approached, the spokeswoman added. The deputy hit Antonio Martinez with it, forcing him to the ground, then levied "a couple more strikes to get his hands free," Sheriff's Department Capt. Joe Rodi told CNN affiliate KGTV.

So even with neighbors explaining this mans situation the officer could not care less.  He suspects this guy of something wrong so any amount of force is allowed.  Even though Antonio DID NOTHING WRONG!  So now with the amount of force used against him we may as well be condemning him to guilt before being proven so.  Antonio's Sister had this to add to the story as well:

"I heard my brother screaming mine and my sister's name," she said. "He was screaming for help.

"My brother wasn't fighting. He was crying and screaming. He was scared."

"When I asked my brother if he was sad, Antonio told me his heart hurt," his sister said. "He's just really sad right now, and he doesn't want to go to the bakery any more."

What a big man this police officer must feel like bringing a man with Down Syndrome to tears, arresting him and holding him against his will until late into the night.  Read the entire article to get the full details.  As for my humble opinion, fire this sheriff today!

Disarm the Police!

Yesterday a man opened fire in a Portland Oregon mall killing two and injuring one.  He yelled out that he was "the shooter", then proceeded to open fire for a few moments before killing himself.  Bringing back fresh memories of the Aurora Colorado shooting this is just another step in the march towards TSA agents searching you before you enter any public location.  You want to go to a football game, or the mall, the movies, or a city park, sooner than later you're going to have to walk through a metal detector, backscatter x-ray machine or a good old fashion pat down just to enter.

Whether these recent shootings are legitimate mental breakdowns or instigated fear tactics orchestrated by the federal government is up for debate.  What is also becoming a large part of our public conversation is whether citizens should be allowed to own weapons at all.   I want to know why the the conversation about whether police officers are allowed to carry guns is never brought up in this country?

The majority of officers doing their routine beat will never fire their gun, they are dealing with domestic disputes, disorderly conduct, shoplifting, and a whole gauntlet of situations where having a gun makes everyone involved less safe.  When dealing with a handicapped schizophrenic man in a wheelchair does a gun ever have to come in to play, when chasing down a shoplifter is pulling a weapon really necessary and when subjugating someone to a side of the road DWI test must your hand be readied on your weapon, just in case?

In my humble opinion the only officers allowed to carry weapons should be SWAT and officers who routinely deal with gang related violence.  If you are an officer walking down main street surrounded by children and merchants, there is absolutely no reason to be carrying a weapon.  You are there to keep the peace not disturb it with gunfire.  The video above is a perfect example of why cops, on and off duty, should not carry weapons.
