Chilean Students Clash with Police

According to RT:
Thousands of protesters filed through the center of the Chilean capital of Santiago on Thursday during a mass student march, clashing with police. Dozens of demonstrators were arrested.
Officials believe some 18,000 demonstrators took part in the march, which was organized by the Confederation of Chilean Students (CONFECH) and two secondary school student groups, Aces and Cones. The demonstration resulted in 34 arrests while 14 police officers were said to be hurt, according to La Tercera.
World wide from Turkey to Brazil, Canada to France people are taking to the streets.  It has become so common that now that Chile is taking part in the action people are so desensitized to it that it seems to be just another student revolt.
However in reality for each individual country these revolts are a major step towards freeing themselves from their political over lords.  I can't wait till America gets it together and goes beyond Occupations and Tea Parties and truly shows the system what we think of them.

Million Veteran March

UPDATE 10/15/2013:
According to LewRockwell:

The Obama Administration sent out the Metropolitan DC police to forcefully remove or arrest aging military veterans from their own monuments.
The cops were out in force armed with guns, stun guns, clubs, tear gas and riot helmets. When it came to the point of the veterans refusing orders to disperse or to discontinue their dismantling park service barricades the cops simply backed off of their mission and allowed the veterans to carry on.
First and foremost the veterans were peaceful and did not represent a public safety threat. They simply made a strong stand against the fascist Obama junta.
In a stunning display of disobedience the police actually stood down rather than engage in violence against the veterans.  There can be no doubt that Whitehouse officials are livid that the cops allowed the veterans to dump hundreds of barricades at the entrance of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

ORIGINAL 10/14/2013:
According to The Examiner:

On Sunday, documentary filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch alleged multiple instances of police brutality at the "Million Vets March" in Washington, D.C.

According to Lynch, he and "several women" were assaulted by police during the protest.
***
He emphasized the veterans and the other protesters were not violent.
"They were honest, true, respectful to those around them and NEVER ONCE did anyone lift a hand," he added.
Lynch also said he witnessed officers "whack" an older women with night clubs in a scene he described as "out of control."
Later, he said he "misreported."
"My last post said I witnessed a woman get whacked with a night stick. What I should of said was 'several women,'" he posted.
Just another day in America as costumed goons who supposedly keep us safe are sent out to harass 90 year old veterans who actually did fight to keep us safe.  While they're at it those POS cops of course find the time to bash some poor women with night clubs, why else get in to this line of work if not to hit innocent people and get away with it?
On a brighter note the Million Veteran March was a great success, check out the videos below!

Atlantic City Police allow K-9 To Chew Guys Head into "Hamburger Helper"

According to The Press of the Atlantic City:

Terri Castellani said her son still wore those handcuffs when, hours later, she visited him in the hospital after authorities allowed the 20-year-old to call home. His back and head “looked like Hamburger Helper,” she said, with more than 200 stitches needed to close his wounds.

I read about this story a bit over a week ago, after watching the video and hearing the victim's mothers description of the wounds I was so disgusted I could not continue to think about the brutal beating this guy got at that point.  Since then I've seen it brought up on a couple of other sites I follow, so I thought it was time to at least share the video, which I apologize for in advance...

Police Murder 80 Year Old Man In His Own Bed

According to KTLA:

The wife of an 80-year-old man who was shot dead by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies in a mistaken meth lab raid is planning to sue the county for $50 million, she said.
On the morning of June 27, detectives raided the couple’s home in unincorporated Littlerock, serving a search warrant granted because the property allegedly smelled of the ingredients used to make methamphetamine, according to sheriff’s department officials.
There’s a dispute about what exactly happened at the home in the 36600 block of 117th Street East (map), east of Palmdale, but Eugene Mallory ended up dead, shot six times.
No evidence of a meth operation was ever found, though sheriff’s officials say marijuana was found on the property.
On Friday, attorney James Bergener plans to announce his filing of a civil lawsuit on behalf of Mallory’s widow Tonya Pate against the sheriff’s department and the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, which Pate says released Mallory’s remains to an out-of-state relative. Pate will ask for upwards of $50 million.
During the June raid, Mallory raised a semi-automatic handgun in response to deputies, who fired on him, the sheriff’s department said at the time. Two guns were recovered at the scene, according to sheriff’s department spokesman Steve Whitmore.
“Age does not preclude somebody from being aggressive toward deputies,” Whitmore said. “The lesson here is… don’t pull a gun on a deputy.”
Pate said Mallory, a former engineer with Lockheed Martin, respected law enforcement and would never have used a gun against officers.
“He would never point a gun at officers,” said Pate, 48. “Every day I stay in that house with that bloody bedroom … where I know he was taken from me for no reason.”
Mallory did own two guns that were in the house, Pate said. She said his glasses were beside his bed when he was killed, and could not have seen because of poor eyesight.
“He was shot in his bed before there was any warning given,” Bergener said..
Marijuana was found on another part of the property where Tonya’s lived, she said.
“There was a drug operation that was certainly going on in this house,” Whitmore said.
"...a drug operation that was certainly going on..." so we shot this man while he slept.  Case closed

Cops Bullying and Murdering the Developmentally Challenged

According to Salon:

On Jan. 12, Robert “Ethan” Saylor of Frederick County, Md., a 26-year-old man with Down syndrome and an IQ of 40, died of asphyxiation after a confrontation with three off-duty police officers. He was being restrained for attempting to see “Zero Dark Thirty” for a second time without a ticket. According to witnesses, Saylor’s last words included “it hurt” and “call my mom.”
Saylor’s ashes now sit in the family’s living room while the three officers continue their usual shifts. No charges have been filed.

Absolutely one of the saddest thing's Ive ever read are this mans last words.  "it hurt" and "call my mom" and yet somehow these thugs couldn't find it in their hearts to , I don't know, loosen up their grip and allow this man to breathe?  These are some evil son's of bitches who can murder a man with down syndrome over trying to movie hop.
In a similar story from The Argus Leader:

The Pierre police chief is defending an officer’s use of an electroshock weapon against an 8-year-old girl who was threatening to harm herself.

Parents of the child, who was with a baby sitter at the time, want the officer disciplined for using excessive force.

***

“Tasers are for grown adults, not 8-year-old girls,” said Bobby Jones, the child’s father. “They say it was for her own safety, but there is no justification for that.”

Of course there is more to this story than meets the eye, however the point I am trying to make here is that police officers around the nation are ill equipped and terribly trained in dealing with persons who have learning disabilities.  Instead of taking extra care with these individuals they are treating them like violent criminals who need to be strangled and tasered.

And just to push the matter here and prove that this is not even close to a rare occurrence this last article comes form Information Liberation:

"We felt like our family was totally violated by the sheriff's department and the school district," says Doug and Catherine Snodgrass of Temecula, California. Last December their 17-year-old autistic high school son was arrested after twice buying marijuana for an undercover Riverside county police officer.

The undercover operation, titled "Operation Glass House," spanned a few months and included undercover officers in three area high schools: Chaparral, Temecula Valley, and Rancho Vista Continuation. The officers posed as regular high school students and would ask other students for drugs. Twenty-two students were arrested - the majority of them are reported to be special needs students like the Snodgrass' son.

Cops in America are due for a rude awakening when the sleeping giant finally awakens and realizes the system they live under is in place to subdue and harass them.  The enforcers of such policies will be the first causalities of the coming war.

Police Murder Man in Diabetic Shock

According to Story Leak:

A Georgia man was shot and killed last Friday, when police, not paramedics, showed up to a medical emergency call made by the man’s fiance. Alcia Herron called 911 for an ambulance shortly after her fiance, 43-year-old Jack Lamar Roberson, took diabetes medication that worried her.

***

According to the Waycross Police Department, officers received an attempted suicide call involving a combative man. Police Chief Tony Tanner alleges Roberson jumped towards his officers with two weapons after ignoring commands to drop them. Roberson’s mother and fiance dispute the officers’ claims.

Just another reason to avoid calling 911 at all costs, chances are calling the police will only make a tense situation much worse.  The slightest emotional outbreak will cause a barrage of bullets from these so called "peace officers".
