Police Reality Show Causes 7 Year Old to be Shot in the Head

Ever watch Cops?  How about any of the other multitudes of reality shows following police officers and convicted felons?  Americans are fucking insane to be amused and entertained by the misery of others.  It is a sad state of affairs we are in, however the social impact towards those watching on TV is the least of the problems that can occur when cameras follow cops.

In the following video CNN broke down a case where an officer was part of a raid on someone's home.  A camera crew was following behind for a reality TV show and because of said cameras the officers went with the more theatrical of entrances by throwing a flash grenade in to the house.  When the grenade went off the 7 year old's grandmother may have accidentally hit in to the gun which then went off and killed her grand daughter.

Whatever the truth is in this case, the hard facts are camera crews should not be following police officers into the line of duty in order to entertain the masses.  Everyone acts different in front of the camera, it is a given, police officers are not an exception to this rule.  Because of the cameras that were following this squad a little girl ended up shot in the head.  Because of the theatrics those watching on TV need to be entertained by, a flash grenade was thrown in to a home causing a gun to go off, "accidentally" ending the life of a child.  Every single person who watches Cops, or whatever series was being filmed during this raid is responsible for this girls death.

GET A FUCKING LIFE!

Stop watching reality TV, stop being entertained by others misery, stop feeding in to the bullshit programming that they indoctrinate us with.  Or not, you can all keep on doing what you're doing, but when the shit really hit the fan... don't say you weren't warned.

HOLY SHIT... I almost forgot the most amusing anecdote from this video.  The chief of police at the time of the shooting was soliciting reality shows to come to Detroit.  He wanted to be the star of a show focusing on himself where he would walk down the street with a gun saying he is going to take care of crime.  Is this the type of person we should have running the police of a major American city?  Someone whose main concern is becoming a reality TV star?!

Watch the video to hear the whole story...
